Aaron Judge: Regular Season Hall of Famer

Aaron Judge just might be the most selfish baseball player of all time. Aaron Judge is on pace to break the all time homerun record, while also hitting .288 during his career, and has three AL MVPs to go with it. My argument is not that he's overrated or that he's not gonna be first ballot hall of famer, because he is for sure going to accomplish that. My argument is that he will never, ever, ever insert himself on the “Yankee Mount Rushmore”, why is that? He's ringless and will be ringless. Let me explain…. The Yankees have a foundation of winning that started in 1923 when they captured their first World Series. Along the way they have had All - Time greats playing for the pinstripes. Babe Ruth, Derek Jeter, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig, Reggie Jackson, Bernie Williams and so many more that we don’t have to list. These greats have nicknames,  Derek Jeter “The captain”, Babe Ruth “ The Babe”, and finally Reggie Jackson, “Mr.October”. These guys are remembered for winning and their postseason historic performances. Jeter, the most recent Yankee great, has tremendous playoff stats, .308 AVG,  20 HRs, 61 RBIs. Mr.October, .278 AVG, 18 HRS, 48 RBIs.  Bernie, .275 AVG, 22 HRS, 80 RBI. Now I can keep listing playoff numbers and how Elite these guys were when the hardware was on the line. But let's switch to “Aaron Fudge”, yes fudge that's his new nickname, .205 AVG, 16HRS, 34 RBIs and strikes out 39% of the time. These are AWFUL stats to have in the postseason, how do yankees fans still love this guy? He will go down as the best regular season player of all time, and one of the most disappointing playoff players of all time.
