Rangers- Most well rounded team in the division when healthy, will win division go to ALCS, degrom back to dominance (if healthy), young talent making statements in Langford/Leiter/Rocker, pitching staff making strides with good mix of veterans and young talent. Just simply the best lineup in the AL West
Mariners- possible wild card contender, turn around year for Rodriguez and Arrozerena. Breakout year for Bliss one of the better rotations in baseball (could be a deep playoff threat if they spent literally any money in the offseason)
Athletics- Possible wild card contender if the young talent shows up. Will make strides to be a better team and lose all young talent in the offseason (yet again) Breakout year for Butler, Possible AL rookie of the year season for Wilson.
Astros- offense seems to be liability, Altuve in the outfield? Hard to believe a 5’6 man will have much range out there, My favorite for AL rookie of the year in Cam Smith. Pitching staff will be solid through the year.
Angels- Just bad
Best of the AL West- Corey Seager (Rangers),Yordan Alvarez (Astros), Julio Rodriguez (Mariners), Mike Trout (Angels), Brent Rooker (A’s)
Dark Horse Players - Cam Smith (Astros), Jack Leiter (Rangers), Logan O’Hoppe (Angels), Ryan Bliss (Mariners), Seth Brown (A’s)
