How… I mean how in the world, is Daniel Vogelbach the assistant hitting coach for the Pittsburgh Pirates. We’ve all seen the “Danny Burgers” clips and cheered the guy on as he tried to leg out a double, but there’s gotta be a few little league coaches out there who could teach better hitting than Vogie.

A career .219 average isn’t exactly stellar. Pittsburgh looks promising with young talent on both sides of the field, but how in the world did Danny land a job here? We’ll have to wait and see how the season plays out, and if he actually has much to do with the team in reality. Either way, we love Danny Burgers.
