Well folks, today it has finally happened. The front office guru, Joe Schoen, has once again wow'd Giants fans with a remarkable off-season move signing the elusive 37 year old Russell Wilson to a one year $20 million deal (Knight to D4). Schoen has made his name throughout his tenure as Giants GM making moves like this to better position his team in the next season's NFL draft. The notorious release of a washed up Saquon Barkley (leading to his historic season ending with a Philadelphia Super Bowl) positioned the Giants with the 3rd overall pick in this year's draft. As the most wonderful time of the year for a Giants' fan approaches, there has been much chatter around Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, or possibly Cam Ward (no shot he falls to 3) getting released by the Giants in 3 years after they try to ruin another quarterback's career. Luckily, the organization does not have to worry about ruining the career of Russell Wilson, who has spent the last three years eating subway and lying his fuckin teeth off in post game pressers because his publicist told him to. Wilson did have a solid stretch last season in Pittsburgh, but his age and limited mobility leaves him as a bridge QB at best for a Giants organization struggling to find a window for success in a division that holds the reigning Super Bowl champs and a Washington team that just opened their window with their electric young QB in Daniels. Giants just might be fucked.
