Can we all get on the same page about going to Walgreens, CVS, etc.? In order to maintain the fabric of our peaceful society, we need to start treating these convenience stores like doctors’ offices. We keep our heads down and our ears shut because whatever we’re in there to get should be protected by HIPAA laws. If you see me in the Walgreens with a plunger in my hand, it does not mean I didn’t finish wiping my ass. It simply means I clogged it last night and I desperately need to take a shit right now so don’t fuckin talk to me. I’d pretend I didn’t know my own grandma if I saw her in a Walgreens (don’t even want to remotely think about what she’d be in there for). For that same reason, all of these stores absolutely need to get with the times and upgrade to self-checkouts. Would you appreciate if a stranger walked into your house, went through all of the cabinets in your house, and took a list of how nasty you are because you’re on your last roll of TP and you finished your shampoo yesterday? Then charges you money for it! That’s basically what cashiers in these convenience stores are doing and it needs to be stopped. We can make change together.
