NL West Day 1 : Let's walk the House

Dodgers use the long ball in a 5-4 win over a very young and talented Tigers team. Tommy Edman got the ball rolling with an absolute missile off of Skubal, 96 right down the middle. Edman from the righties batters box is where he has the most juice, his second of the year.   Down 2-1 in the 5th inning, Teoascar followed with his own home run, a 3 run bomb on another four seem hit to deep center field. Skuball coming off an explosive year last year wasn't as sharp as he usually is, but ultimately didn't pitch horrible, he simply made two HUGE mistakes with the fastball. Shohei gave his team insurance, and hit a backside homer in the 7th and that ultimately was enough to secure the win. On to the starter Blake Snell, this guy is so Good but so Bad at the same time it's insane. Sometimes I feel like he's drunk out there with all these walks. 5 Innings pitched, 5 hits, 2 runs, 2 ks and 4 walks. Someone gets this guy Snell a bucket because he's throwing up.

The Padres BIG 3 lead them to victory, after Michael King heads to the dugout after 2.2 Innings, 4 hits, 3 runs, 3 ks, 4 walks and 1 broken gatorade cooler. Tatis went 3-4 with two runs scored, a true generational talent doing what he does best. Machado 2-3 with 3 runs scored and a ribby. And ladies and gents the young killa,  Jackson Merrill 1-3 with 4 RIBEYE Steaks, yes 4…. What a start for this lineup, thanks Micheal KIng for making my Fantasy team shit the bed, you've been dropped to the waiver wire.

The headline continues for the NL west, bad pitching once again from a supposed to be “Ace.” Zac Gallen absolutely pooped his pants last night, 4 innings, 4 hits , 4 runs , 4 ks, 4 walks, guy must have had 4 shots of vodka too before going out there. The D'Backs will be fine going forward, and still put up 6 runs which was a good sign for an offense missing last year's slugger Christian Walker who's now with the astros. Kartel had two hits and two runs scored in the leadoff spot and Carrol added a knock in the 2 spot.

This Giants team had one hell of an opening day, putting up 4 in the 9th inning on the road to take down the Reds. A shaky start for the ace Logan Webb was enough to keep this team in it till the end.Webb gave up 3 runs on 6 hits with 5ks, but a concerning 3 walks. Wilmar Flores gets the big 3 run bomb in the 9th, yes Wilmer Flores still plays LOL. What a true pro he is still getting it done in 2025. The Big 3, Adames, Chapman, and newly acquired Lee went a combined 1-10. The Giants got carried by the button tier guys on opening day but once this lineup clicks the sky's the limit.

The Rockies open up today, go watch your local little league team before you watch them play.
